Opelika Main Street is now accepting applications for its 2026 Hometown Heroes Downtown Banner Program, offering the community a meaningful way to honor local veterans and active-duty service members. The program will once again transform Downtown Opelika into a tribute to service, with this year’s display holding special significance as part of the America 250 celebration.
