POSITION SUMMARY

  • At EAH, the MMIS Systems Architect will ensure the integrity and reliability of the health system’s MMIS. This position will work with leadership and cross functional teams to make sure the applications meet the needs, requirements, and objectives of both the Supply Chain department and the organization. The position is responsible for identifying and assisting in solving MMIS related system issues. The position also maintains and creates system set up for Supply Chain and verifies that setup follows organizational policies and procedures including data analysis, reporting and dashboard creation and maintenance. 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Education
    - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum Experience
    - 5 years of experience working with MMIS in a healthcare environment.
  • - Experience in system architecture, design, and integration in a healthcare environment.
  • - Understanding of healthcare industry regulations, such as HIPAA, and supply chain traceability requirements.

  • Required Registration/License/Certification
  • - N/A

  • Preferred Education
    - Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

  • Preferred Experience
    - 5+ years of experience in MMIS in a healthcare setting
  • - Preferred experience working with Lawson/INFOR MMIS and Lawson/INFOR MSCM
  • - Preferred knowledge and experience working with Cerner/Surginet
  • - Strong understanding of inventory control, procurement, and supply chain processes.
