The Director of Production is responsible for managing all aspects of production within the Sports & Entertainment Division. This includes creating production timelines, overseeing cleaning and maintenance, managing supplies and equipment, supervising production staff, and ensuring adherence to company standards. The Director of Production will manage expense reports and ensure that all production activities are completed and recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning:
- Develop and manage comprehensive production timelines for events.
- Coordinate production schedules with event timelines and other departments.
- Ensure all production activities align with client requirements and company standards.
Staff Management:
- Lead the production team, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to production staff effectively.
- Promote a positive work environment and team cohesion.
Supplies and Equipment Management:
- Manage procurement and inventory of production supplies and equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, cleaned, and ready for use.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair schedules to prevent downtime.
Quality Control and Standards:
- Uphold company standards within the production department.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality production outputs.
- Regularly review and update production processes and procedures.
Financial Management:
- Manage expense reports for the production department.
- Monitor production budgets and control costs without compromising quality.
- Implement cost-saving measures and optimize resource utilization.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
- Ensure all production activities are documented accurately.
- Prepare reports on production metrics, including productivity, efficiency, and cost analysis.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on production status.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety training and enforce safety protocols.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Event Management, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in production management, within the sports or entertainment industry.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale production operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in production scheduling software and tools.
- Financial management skills, including budgeting and expense control.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
