POSITION SUMMARY

The Benefits Specialist is responsible for duties that require data analysis and independent judgment as related to a variety of Human Resources related functions. Duties require a high degree of computer knowledge and exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with associates and employees. Perform daily responsibilities related to Benefits as well as Human Resources. Ensures accurate interpretation of HR policies and displays organizational values. Ensures compliance with all TJC and ACA standards. Additionally, the Benefit Specialist serves as a health management liaison to providers, patients and families in coordination of clinical services related to the EAMC VEBA health plan.
