The Opelika Chamber and the City of Opelika are partnering to bring you the Small Business Tax Seminar on Wednesday, June 26 at the Opelika Chamber of Commerce. This workshop is designed to help small business owners navigate local licensing requirements, inspections, and tax compliance.

 The event will kick off at 11:00 AM with a Business License Roundtable featuring representatives from Opelika’s Revenue, Planning, Building Inspections, and Health Department. This is a great opportunity to hear directly from city officials about regulations and permitting processes that may impact your business. 

From 12:00 to 1:00 PM, attendees will enjoy lunch and the chance to network with other local business owners and city representatives. 

At 1:15 PM, the focus will shift to a Small Business Tax Workshop, where experts from Revenue, Avenu Insights, and the Alabama Department of Revenue will cover key tax topics, including sales tax, reporting requirements, and tools available to support compliance.
