OYP Cultural Connections Crew: An Evening with Lee County Extension

Join the Opelika Young Professionals Cultural Connections Crew on September 10th at 5:30PM. Tara Barr will highlight some of Lee County Extension’s popular programs, including Farming, 4-H, Gardening, Nutrition, and Nursing Home outreach. She’ll share her background and give a brief history of Extension, emphasizing the importance of outreach and leadership for young people to get involved. We’ll also explore how Opelika Young Professionals (OYP) and Extension can collaborate on a potential service project—like partnering with 4-H’s Youth Council on community initiatives.
